EAST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - Someone is painting squirrels in East Hartford and animal control has been trying to find out who.

The department said two squirrels appear to have been painting in the area of Naubuc Avenue and High Street.

One was blue and the other was red, according to photos department personnel posted to social media.

Animal control said the squirrels appear to be ok.

However, they said they’re looking for whoever was responsible.
