AUSTIN, Texas (KLTV) - Gov. Greg Abbott hinted at a possible third special session after several agenda items failed to produce new legislation for him to sign.
During a bill signing ceremony on Friday, reporters asked Abbott whether or not he would call a special session on THC legislation, In response, he said to “stay tuned on that, something may be happening soon.”
The second special session, which ended Thursday, saw 24 topics on Abbott’s agenda. While a majority of those items produced legislation awaiting Abbott’s signature, a few agenda items were left dead in the House and Senate chambers. Here is a list:
