AEW made history at "All Out" in 2021 with a double debut, first bringing in Adam Cole and following up with Bryan Danielson. Both men had previously been with WWE but opted to join AEW once their contracts expired. In a new interview, Danielson reflected on that night and revealed how close he came to not signing with the company at all.

Speaking with Nick Stav, the "American Dragon" discussed his final conversations with Vince McMahon and the last-minute nature of his AEW deal.

A Last-Minute AEW Decision

Bryan Danielson revealed that his historic AEW debut was not a long-term plan. He stated that he had not officially signed his contract with the company until just a few days before the pay-per-view.

"I hadn't actually signed my contract until two or three days before that," he said.
