A former Hamilton Township schools supervisor who allegedly sexually assaulted three girls over a three-year period was ordered held in jail until trial Monday.

Darnell Williams, 34, of Whiting in Manchester Township, Ocean County, was first arrested Aug. 28 on allegations he inappropriately touched a 7-year-old girl in his vehicle in February.

However, two more alleged victims, ages 11 and 12, came forward within hours of Williams’ arrest being made public, leading to additional charges, Assistant Prosecutor Jasmine Ostrow said.

Williams is now charged with three counts each of sexual assault of a victim under 13, endangering the welfare of a child and official misconduct.
