Canberrans are invited to have their say on what a parliamentary inquiry should examine about their national city.
Planning and development - including the next stage of light rail - public spaces, environment, tourism, economic growth and the territory's cultural identity are among the topics expected to be raised from a federal perspective as Canberra MP Alicia Payne surveys constituents .
Ms Payne, who has been re-elected as chair of the joint standing committee on the national capital and external territories, will also host a public forum on Monday to gather ideas.
"It's an opportunity for people to come and discuss anything that they would like the committee to look into with regard to the national capital," she said.
"I'm very keen to hear from Canberrans about what they wou
