The Phillies lost half of their starting infield to injury on Monday, with shortstop Trea Turner (Grade 1 right hamstring strain) and third baseman Alec Bohm (cyst in left shoulder) heading to the 10-day injured list.
Manager Rob Thomson said Turner is expected back by the postseason and Bohm should be back after the minimum 10 games.
With both stars out, Bryce Harper was penciled in as the Phillies' leadoff hitter Monday's game against the Mets, the opener of a four-game series between the NL East rivals at Citizens Bank Park. Philadelphia has a seven-game lead over New York in the division with 19 games to play.
Turner's hamstring injury forced him to exit in the seventh inning of the Phillies' 5-4 loss on Sunday, and he was due to see a doctor on Monday.
