The North Bay Police Service has made an arrest in connection with four break and enters.

North Bay police responded to a report of a break and enter in progress in the Vimy Street area Sunday around 6:15 p.m.

When confronted, the accused fled, and was then located and arrested by police eight minutes later.

Further investigation, supported by DNA identification, linked the accused to three additional break and enters – July 21 in the Lee Avenue area, July 27 in the McLaren Street area and Aug. 18 in the McIntyre Street area.

“Each of these incidents occurred during daylight hours and involved the theft of a significant amount of personal belongings, including jewelry, cash, and electronic devices. The investigation into these incidents is continuing,” according to police.
