Ahead of her first show in WCCO's 4 p.m. slot on Monday, longtime host Amelia Santaniello expressed her excitement at the changes, even though it will see her spend less time on-screen with husband, Frank Vascellaro.

It was announced last week that as of Monday, Santaniello would be the new co-anchor of the hour-long weekday slot at 4 p.m. alongside Erin Hassanzadeh.

It means she will no longer anchor the 10 p.m. newscast alongside husband Frank Vascellaro, who is now taking on solo anchor duties for the 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. shows, while Santaniello will remain as co-anchor with Vascellaro for the 6 p.m. news.
