LOWELL, Wis. (WMTV) - One person was killed, and another person was seriously hurt after a car and an SUV pulling a boat collided last month, Dodge County officials said Monday.

According to a Facebook post by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened just after noon on August 29 on State Highway 16/60 at O’Sixteen Road, in the township of Lowell.

Deputies determined an 84-year-old woman, who was driving a Buick Lacrosse, did not yield and hit a Honda Pilot that was pulling a boat on a trailer.

The Reeseville woman in the Buick was taken to a medical center in Beaver Dam and then transferred to UW Hospital, where she later died. Officials identified her as Judith Scott-Steinberg.

The 73-year-old driver of the Honda Pilot was taken to a medical center with minor injuries.
