NORMAN — Prospective Sooners and their families blanketed the south edge of Owen Field on Saturday night.

According to reports, Oklahoma had more than 75 recruits in town for the game against Michigan.

OU’s visitors presumably didn’t leave Norman on Sunday wanting for anything. The Sooners put on a show against the Wolverines, and their 24-13 win over their physical Big Ten foe seems likely to pay dividends in recruiting moving forward.

Head coach Brent Venables is often delayed in getting to his postgame interview due to conversations with his team, then talks with visiting recruits and their entourages.
