Two people died following a one-alarm fire inside a private home Monday afternoon in Queens.

First responders rushed to the scene of the blaze around 3:21 p.m. near 254th st. and 87th dr. in Bellerose, where they found an unidentified man and woman, police said.

EMS pronounced the victims dead at the scene; the medical examiner iso working to determine a cause of death for the victims.

Firefighters extinguished the fire and are working to determine what caused the blaze.
