SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A woman has been arrested after a video started circulating social media over the weekend of Sept. 6 showing someone throwing a gun off Cross Lake Bridge in Shreveport.

The Shreveport Police Department says when they were made aware of the video, lake patrol officers were immediately sent out to start looking for the gun. That’s when they were contacted by a man named Bryce Nachtwey from Battle Magnets / Outdoors Weekly .

Police say Nachtwey and his crew drove 13 hours from Florida to Louisiana to search for the gun. They used tactical magnet fishing and were able to recover the gun from the lake.
