MIAMI, Florida (WKBN) - Warren Harding graduate and current Miami Dolphins guard James Daniels suffered a pectoral injury in Sunday's season-opening loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
Miami head coach Mike McDaniel told reporters on Monday that the injury is not season-ending and that Daniels is expected to miss three to four weeks.
Daniels signed a three-year, $24 million free agent contract with the Dolphins back in March.
He spent the past three seasons in Pittsburgh, appearing in 36 games with 36 starts.
Daniels was limited to just four games last season after suffering a torn Achilles.
He was a three-year starter at Warren Harding, an Honorable Mention All-State lineman and a member of the WKBN Five Blocks of Granite in 2014.
