Former Pittsburgh Steelers QB Russell Wilson has learned his status as the starting quarterback of the New York Giants.

Wilson will keep his starting job for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, head coach Brian Daboll said Monday.

Daboll said after Sunday’s ugly loss to the Commanders that he wasn’t sure if rookie Jaxson Dart or veteran Russell Wilson would start Week 2.

However, he revealed on Monday that the Giants are rolling with Russell Wilson again this coming week.

"I have confidence in Russ, and we’re doing everything we can do each week to develop Jaxson,“ Brian Daboll said, according to Charlotte Carroll . ”He spends a lot of time after practice going through things that he needs to go through to prepare himself if he gets called upon to be ready to go.”
