A police investigation is unfolding in Western Sydney after a home was sprayed with bullets in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Police were called to a property on Wright Street in Merrylands about 2.40am after reports of shots being fired.
Three people were inside the home at the time, but were not injured, police said.
A NSW Police spokeswoman told SkyNews.com.au a crime scene remains active at the address, as police probe the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Local roads have been closed and motorists have been urged to avoid the area as investigations continue.
Police have urged anyone who was in the area at the time with available dashcam or mobile footage to contact Granville police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
