JASPER, Ind. (WFIE) - Indiana Governor Mike Braun made a stop in the Tri-State Monday, in his hometown of Jasper.

He attended Spectrum’s Broadband Panel Discussion this morning.

They talked about the partnerships created to expand broadband to even more communities in rural Indiana.

This covered strategies on how to reach people or small businesses who have trouble connecting to the internet.

“It really highlights and showcases the importance of what broadband really means to any home or small business throughout Indiana,” he says. “Without it, we take it for granted - those that have it, those that don’t, are really kind of a deficit. So what we want to do is highlight that and see what we can do to bridge that divide.”
