EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPSO) said deputies administered lifesaving aid during an overdose call on Saturday.
Deputies said they received a call reporting an overdose at a Security-Widefield home around 8:08 p.m.
Upon arriving at the home, deputies said an unresponsive 40-year-old male was found lying on the floor, and the caller was performing CPR.
EPSO said deputies took over CPR and administered the man a dose of Narcan.
Emergency medical teams with the Security Fire Department then arrived, and EPSO said crews administered a second dose of Narcan and used an automated external defibrillator on the man.
According to deputies, the man then regained consciousness.
Deputies said over 100 grams of meth were recovered from the home.
