NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – For the first time, Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham spoke about the retirement of her New Mexico Children, Youth, and Families Department Secretary, Teresa Casados. "There are departments that are much harder than others to run because the risks are so much higher. That one is probably the highest risk in the state; it's tough. And I hope that New Mexicans remember, I will, to give her a great deal of gratitude and thanks for taking it on," said Governor Lujan Grisham. The governor went on to praise Casados, who is her longtime friend.
