It is a quiet start to the week across New Mexico with a ridge of high pressure over the state. This is bringing fewer showers and storms Monday afternoon along with hotter temperatures. High temperatures are climbing above average for this time of year. A few spotty showers are still popping up over and around some of the mountains, but most areas are staying dry.
