It looks like temperatures will start their climb as the week progresses. Today, we saw highs generally in the 70s, touching 80 degrees in a few locations, with comfortable dew points in the 40s. However, this pleasant pattern is about to give way to summer-like heat and drier conditions.

By Thursday, we're forecasting highs to reach the 90-degree mark, with weekend temperatures climbing into the mid-90s. This is certainly hotter than what we've experienced recently.

Alongside the heat, we're also looking at a week-long stretch of dry weather. This lack of precipitation, combined with the rising temperatures, is going to heighten fire danger.
