ELDORADO, Ill. (WSIL) -- The Saline County Coroner's Office confirms the victim has been identified as Michael Wiseman, 44, from Harrisburg.

ELDORADO, Ill. (WSIL) -- One person has been charged with murder in connection to a death investigation in Eldorado.

A representative with the Saline County State's Attorney's Office stated Jesse Trout, 25 of Eldorado, has been charged with murder in connection to a death investigation which happened in the early morning hours in Eldorado.

Illinois State Police said the incident happened at around 5:06 a.m. on September 7, 2025, at Benton Street and 1st Street in Eldorado.
