CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - President Donald Trump took to social media on Monday afternoon, posting to his Truth account that he saw the video of the deadly stabbing on a Charlotte light rail that occurred over two weeks ago.

“I have seen the horrific video of a beautiful, young Ukrainian refugee, who came to America to escape the vicious War in Ukraine, and was innocently riding the Metro in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she was brutally ambushed by a mentally deranged lunatic,” Trump said on Truth.

Trump made other claims in his post on Truth, stating that the alleged killer had been released on cashless bail back in January of this year, multiple times.
