CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A popular restaurant in Charlotte on Monday is voicing its frustration after another opening season loss for the Carolina Panthers.
Dilworth Neighborhood Grille is known for its sports trash talk throughout the football and basketball seasons. They change out their sign after sharing their disappointment after each team’s game.
After the Panthers’ 26-10 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, Sept. 7, the sign outside of Dilworth Neighborhood Grille now reads, “Great opening day, just not for the Panthers.”
Although a 16-point loss isn’t that bad, it was the three turnovers to go along with allowing 200 yards rushing to the Jaguars.
The Panthers will look to bounce back as they head to Arizona to take on the Cardinals on Sunday, Sept. 14.
