The New York Giants on Monday filled a vacancy on their practice squad by adding center Reid Holskey to their practice squad.

Holskey was a collegiate right tackle for the Miami Redhawks in the MAC. He started 54 games at that spot for Miami and was first-team All-MAC last season.

Holskey went undrafted, but signed with the Baltimore Ravens as a center prospect. He was cut by the Ravens, but signed with the Houston Texans practice squad. The 6-foot-6, 310-pound 23-year-old was dropped from the Houston practice squad last week.

Holskey played 41 preseason snaps for the Ravens at center. He compiled a 70.3 Pro Football Focus grade, 80.5 as a pass blocker and 67.5 as a run blocker.

The Giants cut guard Curtis McClendon to make space for Holskey.
