Eleven men face human trafficking charges following a special operation to combat online child exploitation in Limestone County.
The Limestone County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division Special Operations Team conducted "Operation Summer Heat" over the Labor Day Weekend. The sheriff's office says the operation focused on identifying suspects who were engaged with sexually explicit conversations with children online, arranged to meet a child for sex, traveled with the intent to commit unlawful sex acts, attempted to purchase sex with a minor, or tried to traffic a child to others.
