CLEVELAND (WJW) - The Cleveland Division of Police is investigating after two teenage girls were stabbed in the city on Monday evening.
Third District officers responded to a reported stabbing near East 40th Street and Community College Avenue just before 6 p.m.
When they got there, officers found the victims -- ages 14 and 17 -- with stab wounds. They were treated at the scene until EMS arrived and took them to a nearby hospital, investigators said.
No arrests have been made yet, but according to Cleveland police officials, investigators believe the suspect is a female.
The stabbing remains under investigation at this time.
