(WJW) -- Early voting is now underway in Cuyahoga County's Sept. 9 primary election.
Voters across seven Cleveland wards will pick new candidates for city council for the first time after city wards were reduced and redrawn earlier this year.
Voters in Cleveland Heights will decide whether to recall Mayor Kahlil Seren amid numerous controversies. They'll also choose mayoral candidates for the Nov. 4 general election, in which Seren was found to be ineligible to run.
East Cleveland Mayor Lateek Shabazz faces his first primary challenge after being court-appointed to the seat in July.
There are also several uncontested races, whose candidates will roll to the general election.
How can I vote in person?
