SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – Early voting kicked off Wednesday for two highly-anticipated runoff elections in Spartanburg County.

The runoff races in play are for Spartanburg County sheriff and Spartanburg County Council District Three. Spartanburg County voters are now choosing one of two candidates for both sheriff and the district three seat.

“I want to know what your plan is, how you’re going to execute it, will the people actually follow you, are you a natural leader, and if so, how’s that going to affect the crime in my area? So, I picked the man I felt was right for the job,” said runoff election early voter, Sharon Kimbrell.
