CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cleveland voter Willie Johnson became part of the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections history as he was the first person through the doors to cast his ballot in the BOE’s new downtown offices.

Cuyahoga County voters will have nearly a month of opportunities to cast their ballots early for the Sept. 9, 2025, primary election.

The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections has released its early in-person voting schedule, offering voters flexible options across weekdays and weekends starting in mid-August.

Early voting began Aug. 12 at the Board of Elections office located at 1803 Superior Ave. in Cleveland. Weekday voting hours from Aug. 12-29 will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

As the election approaches, hours will be extended. On Tuesday, Sept. 2, the polls will be open from 7:3
