The Cleveland State University College of Law got new leadership under co-interim deans Brian Ray and Carolyn Broering-Jacobs, who took over the position together on July 1 following the spring departure of previous dean Lee Fisher, now president of Baldwin Wallace University in Berea.
Ray, previous associate dean of faculty development and online programs, and Broering-Jacobs, previous associate dean of academic and student affairs, said that when the internal search for an interim dean began, the two campaigned for the position together. Confident that the partnership would allow them to “force multiply,” Ray said, the two have a combined 40+ years of experience at the CSU College of Law.
