STEWARTVILLE, Minn.- The Stewartville Public School Board approved a collaborative agreement 7-0 with Kasson-Mantorville Schools at its Monday, Sept. 8 meeting.

This means around a dozen girls who currently make up the team would have the opportunity to still compete in state gymnastic competitions as part of the KM gymnastics team, after their program was cut by the Stewartville district going into the 2025-26 school year.

In order to participate in the cooperative program the 2025-26 students will have to give notice to Stewartville High School by Sept. 28.

The next step in getting the agreement approved will be for it to go before the Kasson-Mantorville School Board and the Triton Public School board which already has a gymnastics cooperative agreement with Kasson-Mantorville.
