The Pittsburgh Steelers are signing wide receiver Rakim Jarrett to their practice squad, the team announced. Jarrett visited the team on Friday and now joins the organization.

Jarrett was released by the Buccaneers in August during final cuts after spending the last two seasons with the team on their active roster. A slot receiver primarily, he has 14 receptions over his first two NFL season.

Jarrett was an undrafted free agent out of Maryland in the 2023 NFL Draft. He came out a year early after being a five-star recruit who stayed local in Maryland. During his time with the Terrapins, Jarrett shone as one of the best wide receivers in the entire Big 10.
