SUSQUEHANNA TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) -- After weeks of discolored water, Veolia Water customers are finally getting some answers to their questions and concerns through community meetings.

Two meetings were held in Susquehanna Township — just one of the affected areas — on Monday.

Longtime residents such as Debby Abel were in attendance. She brought a sample of what her water looked like from July.

“I wanted to have a record of how bad this was to show to folks here from Veolia,” she told abc27 News.

Veolia customers like Abel didn’t learn what caused that discolored water until last month.

“So back in June, we had a pump issue at our sixth street plant,” said Leigh Ann Urban, Veolia’s director of communication for Veolia
