CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - CR Events hosted its annual Learn to Skate Open House at the ImOn Ice Arena in Cedar Rapids.

For one five year old, this event was especially important.

Kenan Kantarevic’s daughter Ella, experienced ice skating for the first time.

”I love when they do something like this because it opens up things for the community because something like hockey it’s not available in every community so it’s nice to have a free skate to be like hey people should try it,“ said Kenan Kantarevic.

There will be hosting Learn To Skate USA sessions throughout September and October at the ImOn Ice Arena.
