The long-awaited Treaty between the Victorian government and the state’s Indigenous community has been revealed, as the Allan government introduced legislation to give effect to the Treaty on Tuesday.

Premier Jacinta Allan announced the details of the Treaty with the First Peoples’ Assembly co-Chairs on Tuesday, with a joint statement describing it as a “major milestone in Victoria’s decade-long Treaty process”.
