State Senator Sandy Salmon (R-Janesville) announced today she will be seeking re-election in 2026 to the Iowa legislature in Iowa Senate District 29. The district includes Bremer County, Butler County, Chickasaw County, and most of Floyd County.

“It has been a humbling experience and an honor for me to serve Iowans in the Iowa Senate. I have worked to pass a fiscally responsible budget, income tax reform, property tax relief, education reforms, and pro-life and pro-liberty legislation, but there is still much to be done,” said Salmon. “I look forward to meeting with citizens of the district and earning their vote to continue my work on their behalf.”
