More than 100 children are being tested for tuberculosis after a childcare centre in Sydney's east was unknowingly exposed to the disease.
NSW Health staff have set up a makeshift clinic at Little Feet Early Learning and Childcare in Waverly to test 104 children and 34 staff for tuberculosis.
Parents were notified via email on Friday that their children were potentially exposed to the infectious disease after somebody who tested positive had been in the centre for three days a week for six months.
A statement released by the childcare informed parents that the individual was in the centre between February and August.
