ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Michigan’s inability to sustain drives on offense and convert on third down has the coaching staff going back to the drawing board this week.

A team that looked physical and explosive in Week 1 lacked the same punch in a 24-13 loss to Oklahoma, making Saturday’s non-conference finale against Central Michigan (Noon, Big Ten Network) critical for getting back on track.

“This week’s about how the ‘how’ — not necessarily the ‘what,’” Michigan coach Sherrone Moore said. “So, we’ll really attack that, attack all the details.”
