CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) -- The sights, sounds, and flavors of fall will take over Corning next weekend as the Harvest Festival returns to the Gaffer District.
The annual two-day celebration runs Friday, September 19th, from 4-9 p.m. and Saturday, September 20th, from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Market Street will be closed to traffic, turning into a walkway filled with vendors , local food, and live performances . More than a dozen musical acts are scheduled throughout the weekend, with free concerts on multiple blocks.
“It’s just you’re out and about and you can’t not get caught up in the energy of it,” said Dave DeGolyer, Director of Communications with Explore Steuben. “Free music is pretty cool, and with so many different acts, you can walk down the street and find something that you like.”
