PENN YAN, N.Y. (WENY) -- A Dundee man is expected to serve 10 years behind bars after reaching a plea deal in a child sexual abuse case.
According to the Yates County District Attorney, Ronald Chilson plead guilty to one count of Criminal Sexual Act in the 1st Degree, which satisfied the other charges against him in the case.
The District Attorney told WENY News that Chilson abused his adopted daughter and foster children while running a "therapeutic" foster home in Dundee.
He was arrested in July of 2024 following an investigation after a report from the Yates County Child Protective Service.
