BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Anyone wanting to get in on one of Birmingham’s best traditions will soon have their chance.

Birmingham City Councilor J.T. Moore announced Monday that tailgating spots for the Amazon Magic City Classic go on sale Thursday, Sept. 11.

“The Magic City Classic is one of Birmingham’s most cherished traditions, and tailgating is at the heart of the experience,” said Moore. “Every year, spaces sell out quickly, so I encourage everyone to secure their spot early and be part of the excitement. Don’t wait—these spaces won’t last long!”

Tailgating spots for the Classic costs $456.82 each, including taxes and fees and will be limited to two spots per transaction.

Spots are offered on a first-com, first-served basis with prices going up for in-person purchases in Oct.
