Brooklyn, NY – A 70-year-old man was fatally stabbed inside a Brooklyn residence early Monday, leading to the arrest of a 31-year-old suspect later the same day, police said.

Officers responded around 1:10 a.m. to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where they learned the victim had been brought in by private means with multiple stab wounds to the chest. Despite medical efforts, the man was pronounced dead.

Investigators determined the stabbing took place inside a home on East 87th Street in the 69th Precinct.

Later that evening, at approximately 11 p.m., police arrested Josny Jean, 31, of the same address. Jean was charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released pending proper family notification. The investigation is ongoing.
