ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WSPA) -- An arrest has been made in connection with an Asheville apartment shooting that injured two people in June.

38-year-old Brandon Norrelle Miller was arrested by Asheville Police in connection with the shooting on Atkinson Street. The incident took place around early Saturday morning on June 21st, when officers responded to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they discovered damage to several vehicles, shell casings and traces of blood.

No victims were found at the scene.

As the investigation unfolded, police were informed of a gunshot victim who had arrived at Mission Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Shortly thereafter, a second victim was reported to have arrived at AdventHealth in Henderson County with a gunshot wound to the leg.
