A library in Cambridge has been closed for “urgent repairs” due to an ongoing building issue. Cambridgeshire County Council has announced that Arbury Court Library, in Arbury Court, is temporarily closed and apologised for any inconvenience caused by the closure.

The authority said: “Arbury Court Library is currently closed due to an ongoing building issue. We’re working to resolve it as soon as possible.

“All books due back during this period of closure will be automatically renewed. We apologised for any inconvenience this may cause.”

The county council also said it will contact anyone with books to collect from the library and the Summer Reading Challenge participants.

Due to the temporary closure the county council has said the opening hours at Milton Road Library, in Ascham Road
