SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WWLP) -A man from Springfield was arrested and charged with risk of injury to a child after allegedly taking several juveniles to a Target store to steal merchandise.

The South Windsor Police Department states that 44-year-old Joshua E. Middleton of Springfield's charges stem from an incident in April 2024. It was determined that Middleton was responsible for taking several juveniles to the Target on Buckland Hills Drive to steal merchandise.

Middleton left the area before police arrived, and an arrest warrant was issued. He turned himself in at police headquarters on September 4th and was charged with risk of injury to a child. He was released on a $10,000 non-surety bond.

Middleton is scheduled to be in Manchester Superior Court on Wednesday, September 24th.
