With the MLB season drawing to an end, several important games are all set to take place. The rivalry between the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets will continue on Tuesday at Citizens Bank Park. After a tight 1-0 win in Game 1, Philadelphia will look to extend its lead over the Mets in the National League East and playoff race.

Monday’s opener ended in a pitchers’ duel. Aaron Nola delivered his best outing of the year. The Phillies’ only run came in the second inning when Nick Castellanos brought home Max Kepler. In the ninth, Jhoan Duran shut the door. Despite a strong effort by Mets rookie Nolan McLean, he took the tough-luck loss after giving up just one run in 5 1/3 innings.
