Slade Cecconi’s no-hit bid ends in eighth as Guardians romp to 10

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Slade Cecconi is the latest pitcher to try and end Cleveland’s no-hit drought.

He didn’t come as close as Gavin Williams, but he gave it a good try Monday night to open a wild-card showdown with a 10-2 victory over the Royals at Progressive Field.
