DENVER — At first Cheryl McConnell thought she got a deal.
When she logged into her bank account, she says she thought she read that a transaction for her parking in the garage at Denver International Airport cost $23. Parking there usually costs $35 a day.

McConnell owns Ushood , a small business that produces and sells sun shirts and base layers. Last year, she and her husband decided to open a kiosk to sell the outerwear inside airport’s B concourse.
McConnell said she and her husband man the small booth each day and generally park in the garage for convenience.
“I'm so exhausted at the end of my day that, I don't necessarily always look at the screen,” McConnell
