PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio — A 71-year-old Pickaway County man driving a tractor died following a crash in Pickaway County on Monday.

According to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office, authorities received a call around 1:45 p.m. about a crash in the area of Walnut Creek Pike and Hagerty Road in Walnut Township.

The sheriff’s office says Roger Diehl was driving his New Holland tractor eastbound on Hagerty Road. Diehl stopped his tractor at a stop sign, then pulled out in front of 2006 Nissan.

Diehl was taken to Grant Medical Center in Columbus where he died. The woman driving the Nissan was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
