A Clinton Township man has been charged with attempted murder on allegations he beat his male neighbor who was cutting his lawn over the weekend.

Kurt Tyler Studing, 66, was arraigned Monday in 41B District Court in Clinton Township on the attempted-murder charge for his alleged attack Saturday on a 75-year-old man and assault and battery on the allegation he assaulted the man’s 67-year-old wife who tried to intervene according to Macomb County prosecutors

“The alleged attack on a vulnerable elderly neighbor is deeply disturbing,” county Prosecutor Peter Lucido said in a news release.
